Recipe: Stuffed Squids

4 squids
150/200g of minced meat (cow or pork)
Tomato paste
Garlic (6 teeth)
1 onion
3 tomatoes
Bacon strips
Olive oil

Other additional seasonings:

Knorr broth
Knorr 1,2,3 ... Sabor! Lasanha

How to:

- Batatas a murro (smashed potatoes)

1. Without peeling the potatoes, wash them well under running water;
2. In a saucepan, place the potatoes with 1/1,5 L of boiled water seasoned with olive oil and 2 laurel leaves;
3. Bring to medium heat and cook for about 45 minutes;
4. When the potatoes are cooked, put them in a pot and let them cool;
5. Season with olive oil and bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes.

- Minced meat

1. In a pan, add the onion and garlic. Saute until golden;
2. Add the bacon and sausages, previously cut into slices. Fry for 5/10 min;
3. When the bacon is fried, add minced meat (previously seasoned with garlic, salt, and laurel leaf). Mix everything and let it fry;
4. Add the tomato pulp (about 3 tablespoons) and the ketchup (2 tablespoons).
5. Add 1 cup of cold water, add and mix the content of the Knorr packet and simmer while stirring;
6. Season with a small portion of ox tail;
7. Let it boil and it's ready.

- Squids

1. Wash the squid.
2. Hold the part between the eyes and the body then remove the head from the mantle.
3. Remove the piece of hard cartilage from inside the body of the squid;
4. with a knife remove the remaining viscera in the body of the squid. Wash them again;
5. Season with salt.
6. In a pan, add about 500 ml of seasoned water with garlic and laurel leaf. Put the squid and cook (during the time you prepare the minced meat).
7. Remove and place in a dish to cool;
8. After the minced meat is ready, fill the squid with the same meat.
9. Punch them with a toothpick and bake in the oven for 10 min.
